This costume is for a one of a kind half-scale wax figure (approx. 3' tall) of the goddess Oshun, sculpted by David Cellitti. The corset is assembled of 24 pieces of dupioni silk, all-over hand embroidered and beaded. The skirt is constructed of 5 full circle petals of chiffon, each with a hand-wired hem of 82 inches. Her fan of peacock feathers, her hair ornaments and her bracelets are all handmade.

One of a series of characters sculpted for Lord & Taylor Fairytale themed Holiday windows. One male figure and one female figure were sculpted in wax clay, and multiples cast in resin. This is a costume for a one of a kind commissioned wax portrait of the silent screen star in half scale (approx 3' tall), sculpted by David Cellitti. Various silks (raw, china and embroidered metallic) depict the costume worn by Valentino in his famous movie, The Sheik.
